Kathryn Benzel is Professor in English at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. A former student of Cary Nelson, she has published on Virginia Woolf, visual arts and literature, and narrative study. Recently she co-edited a critical collection, Trespassing Boundaries: Virginia Woolf’s Short Fiction (Palgrave 2004). She has directed the Women’s Studies Program, Graduate Studies in English, and currently directs the First Year Program.
